This notice explains how we process personal data when you visit booking.highliving.ch, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

2. Data we process
- Technical data: our hosting provider automatically stores server logs such as IP address, date and time, page visited and browser type, to run the website securely.
- Bookings: the home page embeds a booking window provided by Elev8 Suite; it only loads after you agree in the cookie notice. «Availability & booking» takes you to our booking page, also operated through Elev8 Suite, where you enter your booking, contact and payment details directly. Booking confirmations and messages during your stay also run through Elev8 Suite, and the privacy notice on the booking page applies there.
- Email and WhatsApp: if you write to us, we use your details to answer your request.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics. Fonts, images and the map are served from our own web space. Your browser only stores whether the intro effect was shown and your choice in the cookie notice.
The Elev8 Suite booking window may set its own cookies needed for booking. It only loads if you click «Accept» in the cookie notice or load the booking window yourself. You can change your choice at any time via «Cookie settings» in the footer.
4. Hosting, forms and transfers abroad
This website is provided by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA, so server logs are also processed in the USA. Netlify is certified under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and a data processing agreement is in place. The booking page is operated through Elev8 Suite. Where data is transferred to a country without adequate protection, we ensure suitable safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data and object to processing at any time by writing to info@highliving.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
